The Day of
I take your time very serious and arrive approximately 30-40 min prior to a session for
setup and location evaluation (especially if it’s my first time at your home). It is understandable that my clients need time to get acclimated in front of a camera and with the photographer - in particular small children. Upon my arrival once I’m set up, I’ll begin test shooting, so please don’t feel pressure to begin your session during this time.
Location
Simply put, I come to you! Albeit a favorite park of yours
or your home. The only thing that matters is that you are comfortable with your environment and we have a complete understanding of
your vision. If you need help deciding on a location I am more than happy to aid in that process.
If we are shooting in your home, it is best to designate a selected area that you don’t mind being in pictures. Images come out better when there is less distraction in the background. This does not pertain to your furniture that you’d normally have.
Wardrobe
It’s best to inform the photographer of your selected style. Depending on your location and overall vision, we can further consult via email or phone. You can also check out my blog for more info. Keep in mind that simplicity is key.
